Welcome to week 3 of our summer swim season! The board has just a few important reminders for this week.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our last practice ends at 11:00am. The pool does not open for members until 11:30am. Please be prompt with pick up at 11:00am, as no lifeguards are on duty and we must vacate the facility at this time.

The HOA has received a couple of complaints of vehicles "zipping" through the neighborhood when taking kids to swim practice. Please be courteous and follow posted speed limits.

SPIRIT WEAR

New this year - all swimmers will receive a 2024 theme shirt included with their registration. If you registered by May 27th, your shirt is already at the pool. If you registered after May 27th, it should be arriving in the next week. Please see a board member at the pool to receive your shirt.

We saw some fun, new SYC swag at our first swim meet last Thursday! SWIM MEETS

Home Swim Meet (r-cap) - FWCC on June 13th

We hosted our first swim meet of the season last Thursday! Everything was going so well until the weather abruptly cut our evening short. Congratulations to all of our swimmers, the meet still counts! Results were posted on the bulletin board at the pool on Friday morning and are also attached to this email.

Home Swim Meet (upcoming) - New Haven on June 20th

We will host New Haven this coming Thursday. By now, you should have RSVPd your swimmer for ALL upcoming meets on our website. We will not be able to make exceptions for late adds if you have not RSVPd your swimmer for upcoming meets. As a reminder, all home meets begin at 6:00pm. Swimmers need to arrive at 4:45pm for warm-ups. You will be notified which events your child is swimming in prior to the meeting. If possible, please write their events on their arm before they come to the pool on Thursday evening. If your swimmer needs help with this, please let a coach know when you arrive for warm-ups.

Away Swim Meet (upcoming) - Pete Johnston (Ages 11 & up) on June 22nd 

There will be information to come regarding warm-up/arrival times, etc. later this week.
